Ballistol Animal – So your animal doesn't have to lead a dog's life!
Whether dog, horse or small animal, whether for caring, protecting or cleaning, whether in the stable, at home or on the go: Ballistol Animal is the right care oil for your animal. For more than 70 years, it has supported the animal-appropriate care of skin, ears, coat, paws, claws and hooves: gently and reliably. Suitable for regular care after strain and for the aftercare of superficial skin irritation once wounds have closed. Also ideal for the aftercare of tick bites or minor injuries, for example in the case of summer eczema. When used as directed, accidental licking is not a cause for concern according to current knowledge.

Wound aftercare: As a high-quality care oil, Ballistol Animal acts on the coat and skin, making them soft and supple. The oil is therefore ideally suited for the accompanying treatment of wounds that have already closed, in order to care for and protect the new skin and to prevent scarring. At the same time, it keeps scars supple.
Saddle sores: Saddle sores are treated in the same way. In favourable cases, the pressure sore will have disappeared by the next day. Note: If the saddle sore has already damaged the skin and wounds are visible, please contact your vet.
Summer eczema: The widespread summer eczema in horses can be treated in the same way as wound aftercare: once an acute wound has healed, the skin is kept soft and supple by applying Ballistol Animal, and hair growth is encouraged again.
Relief from itching: The essential oils contained in Ballistol Animal, together with the high-quality skin care oils, also provide relief from itching, e.g. in the case of skin irritation or insect bites.
