Performance & Applications

GunEx MIL combines all three core functions of weapon maintenance in a single product: cleaning, lubricating and protecting – CLP for short. As a CLP weapon oil, it reliably dissolves carbon deposits and residues, ensures consistently smooth operation of all mechanical components, and provides long-term corrosion protection for metal surfaces.

An operating temperature range of -54 °C to +150 °C makes it the first choice across all climate zones: whether arctic cold, tropical heat or maritime environments with elevated salt water exposure. GunEx MIL guarantees stable and reliable weapon function under all conditions.

Optimised for Modern AR and NATO Platforms

Current weapons systems such as the Bundeswehr's G95 are based on the AR-15 principle with an indirect gas-operated action and buffer system in the stock. This design differs fundamentally from older systems such as the G3 or G36: it requires constant, even lubrication along the entire operating cycle, particularly in the buffer system and at the bolt group.

GunEx MIL has been specifically formulated for these requirements. The optimised viscosity remains stable even at extreme temperatures, ensuring that AR-based systems function reliably after extended periods of storage or continuous operational use.

GunEx MIL is integrated as a core product within a comprehensive CLP system. Combined with GunCer, BALLISTOL's ceramic-based high-performance lubricant, it forms a particularly effective care system for weapons subjected to high rates of fire. Additional specialised cleaners are available to complete the system: barrel cleaner, parts cleaner and suppressor cleaner, as well as the established JW weapon care system.
