For applying oil and cleaning fluids into the gun barrel. They are designed so that there are no sharp edges that could damage the barrel. Due to the rough structure of their natural hairs, oil brushes bring more oil/cleaning agent into the barrel than nylon brushes. Brush size 12 GA is suitable for cleaning barrel parts on bolt action and self-loading rifles. Regular barrel cleaning prevents misfires.
