H1 is a food oil with NSF H1 approval according to the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration). It is mainly used in food processing companies, e.g. in the beverage industry, butchers' shops, etc.

It is just as suitable for cleaning as it is as a penetrating and lubricating oil.
